I have purchased two of these in Reading & Northern SD38s , Lionel number 6-82805. The problem I have with both is the smoke units are rather anemic with the smoke volumn. The element is getting hot and it seems the motor is running but the output is weak at best. I did the blow down into the stack and di a reset but nothing. The light did not flash at all but seems like very little smoke is coming up. Also one of the red LEDs on one unit does not come on. Should I call Lionel to send it back or is there a simple fix for this? Anyone else have a problem with these units? Thanks for your time.
