Lionel Parts 50% off sale?

Some people have. I ordered early Friday AM and mine was just shipped yesterday. I should have it today.

No email confirmations sent out

Thanks WMCWOOD.  I too got my order in on Friday.  Hopefully It will get process today.

Last couple of years I ordered parts during this sale,  I received my order 7-10 days after the sale was over.   Haven't received this years order yet and I placed it at 12:27 AM on Fri morning.    Lionel gets pretty swamped during their open house weekend as it's all hands on deck.      Lionel stopped sending out part order email confirmation notices about a year ago.

Ordered mine Friday, arrived in Chicago yesterday.

I got half of my order yesterday, I actually did two orders.  The other is still pending, haven't seen that one yet.

Didn't get mine yet, but I also only ordered late on Sunday.

Side note, I really wish they would send the automated email confirming the intended order (I understand inventory may not be real time and if they run out of something, it might not make it into the final order). 

I tried a whole bunch of different methods (using Firefox - changed margins, percent zoom, etc) to print my final order from the web site once my order was complete and while it would print my total charge, it didn't print the list of items I had ordered! (it was clearly view-able on the screen). 

I ultimately made screen shots and saved them to a PowerPoint file so I would have a record of what I placed an order for.  Not the end of the world, but not terribly customer-friendly either!  It's much easier when I can just print it to a PDF like I do for nearly anything else I pay for on line.

You can view your order history in the MyLionel component of the parts store. Its buried a bit but I have found it quite useful. Its under the service tab

You can check the status of your order on the Lionel website.  When it ships, they list the tracking number there.  I placed my parts order early Friday morning.  Yesterday they updated my order page with the tracking number.

Go to your "My Lionel" dashboard.  Once you're logged in, along the top click on "service".  Then look for "parts orders".

Your parts orders are not listed in the same place as if you ordered something from the Lionel Store.  You have to go to the "parts orders" page to view the status.

All good to know.  I'm not sure if I ever registered for MyLionel, though it's possible I suppose.  I checked out as a guest this time since I definitely didn't have login info handy. 

I'm not worried about it at this point, but if I don't see them on my doorstep in the next week or so I'll try looking up my order # (or even go old fashioned and call them on the phone! ).

Thanks, I couldn't find it before.  I was surprised there was no record, but there it is.   They have a long memory, and they stutter, every order appears twice!

     I ordered my parts last Friday (11/3) and received them yesterday (11/9). Very quick service!
