Lionel Passenger Station & Roberts Brick Mortar

I recently acquired some Robert's Brick Mortar and tested it out and find it to be fantastic.

I have a Lionel Passenger Station (6-37928 found here) and I was wondering if anyone has done the mortar lines on the roof?

The roof has a sort of brick look to it. I was going to try the Robert's brick mortar on one section or area and see how it looks, but thought I would ask here if someone has already tried.

thanks for your feedback Jim - I was sort of thinking the same. The roof just has a "unique" look.

I always sort of thought it was like a tile roof, except not rounded like these.

And I was wondering if the Brick mortar would dress it up or make it look dumb.
