I am using gargraves track on my layout and I am wondering if I can and if so how to use RCS track rails for unloading? Is is also possible how to use the other rails on the RSC track for uncoupling on gargraves track? If all possible I would l would appreciate as how to wire it in and what type of activation device to use

The item in your picture is wired as follows, starting at the bottom of your picture, first screw terminal is the outside rail, second is the next rail in, third is the center rail, forth is the other accessory rail. I just placed one of these on my text bench. I connected the first two terminals and ran a momentary switch (button) from the hot side of the transformer to terminal 4. This will make operating cars work. There is no way to uncouple with this track.

I did this several years ago using 3/32 brass rod. I used about 2 1/2" pieces bent into a long c shape. I drilled two holes in the ties and inserted the rods into them. One end of each one I made longer so I could connect to them under the layout. Takes longer to explain then to do.
