    Thanks for posting the video great engine the steam smoke whistle is great really adds to the engine's appeal. I was hoping to see the set as I believe they are now shipping. I guess the cabin car was the hold up.

Freight set is in any day now.... the new M1a has great sound, tough to beat the original release...

I received the set yesterday. Great set! Here's some photos.

Great looking set!! I was curious about the cabin car so your images helped. Unlike the catalog art the trucks are not the same color as the body, but no big deal.

 

I hear Lionel was including a "scale" smokestack with the smoking cabin cars so that the functional stack can be replaced with a scale stack if one chooses not to activate the smoke unit. Is this the case??
