Does anyone have actual pictures of one of these kits installed? Meaning built up on a layout?
This kit: 6-12968
Thanks

I find it odd like the MTH arch bridge, that a pier needs to be in the middle.
The pier just adds more detail, though you are correct, it's not as common as a clear span for the supposedly short distance. I've seen plenty of these types of spans with center supports however. Still, not as common as a clear span.
I don't mind the center pier. I'm thinking of using it just as a dryed river/open span, not a water crossing.
Is the center pier removable ?

I'm not sure, I don't actually have a kit yet.
Anyone ever have one of these?!
I will post some pictures of the kit shortly.

Here are photos for the kit and the instructions.
Total of five pieces.
Two pieces doe side walkways and fillers between the rails.
Two pieces with main girder, internal crossmembers, and walkway supports and railings.
Support brace with concrete pads.
Looking at the parts and the instructions there is no fixed place to position the support. It does not need to be in the center or even present. The parts are nicely detailed. The stiffeners and angle iron riveted to together and to the steel plate web.

Jan, thank for you those pictures.
Does anyone have a picture/s of this built and installed?
Guess I'll just have to buy three of them(going on a module) and try it!
Well I pulled the trigger and bought one.
Still have not built this bridge...
Had anyone else yet?
Chris,
i think it will be an easy build for you. You can decide if you want the pier or not. You can always use the pier for something else.
