Lionel's 30K Gallon Tank Cars?

I checked the shipping schedule for these new tank cars this morning and all but the ADM cars have been moved to January.

 

I had these "pre-ordered" from Charles Ro, so, I went to his website to see what was listed.  Since the 6-27992 cars were listed there...I ordered a set and received the usual email confirmation...with no indication of back order.  My assumption is that they do have them in stock.

 

Has anyone purchased and/or seen these tank cars from the most recent shipment...if they have, indeed, been shipped??

I do not believe these have shipped yet.

 

I have a hunch that the Charles Ro website has given up attempting to quote accurate shipping ETA's for products.  They once had the estimated ship dates that closely tracked Lionel's shipping schedule.  But that schedule is in such a sad state now, I don't blame them for giving up.  Some other items like the newly catalog'd passenger cars also don't have any mention of back-order status or shipping ETA, but I know they're not expected until Apripl 2014 at the earliest.

 

Never assume anything you see on a website is truly accurate regarding shipping dates, unless you know it's from an authorized source with an excellent track record.  Best to call for best certainty.
