Lionel Shipping Updated?

Not surprisingly, it looks like they pushed it back quite a bit.  I had my eye on something that previously showed April delivery.  They backed it out to July.  

I'm happy to actually see the two LC+ 2.0 Docksiders I'm waiting for back on the schedule, even if they're pushed back to Oct.

Same here, John. That item was the first one I tracked down, especially since my preorder on that is from the 2019 catalog.

Good things come to those...you know.

The price was too good to pass up, I figure to take one apart and see what's in there that allows them to make this for a street price a little over $200.  That's not in the mold of the products lately.

I confess I'm a little skeptical that it'll be as good as the ad copy, but we live in hope that I'm wrong.

Btw, the B&O I-12 cabooses finally showed up on the sked. I think for the first time. Seem to recall there was a lot of preorder buzz on these so going to assume many are interested.

Delivery is projected as August.

The LionChief Plus 2.0 CSX SD80MAC that I have on order is still scheduled for delivery in May.  Probably won't get here in time for my birthday, but if it does come this month, I'll be happy!

Wow. The B&M set I ordered from 2020v1 is slated for September. That seems very optimistic, but hey, if thats when it comes I'll be happy. The add-on 2 pack says November; that seems more realistic, especially since why would you break them up?

As a newbie, I get confused about the ordering process.  For example, why are some items that have been available for years and are in stock at numerous places listed as not being available until future dates?  For example, the first line in the chart # 612016 FasTrack 10" Straight Terminal Track says it will be available in August.

Yeah, it does seem strange but I think the simple answer is that a common item like track is listed in every catalog and the date just reflects the delivery of the latest "batch" or run of the item. And course something like FasTrack can be found now at dozens of train dealers and hobby stores because of existing inventory. 

Whatever will I do?  Union Pacific Rotary Gondola 4-Pack ordered on 08/31/2016 is showing delivery next month.  Thought I would walk through the Pearly Gates before that merchandise would be delivered.  Best stay home, maintain social distance, wear face mask and wash hands frequently since it's so close.
