I'm currently building a upper level of track on my layout. I'd like to use the new MTH Bridge with the Christmas lights. But, I'm using the Lionel Piers  which are 5" tall. The piers on the MTH Bridge are according to the catalog is 5 1/8" tall. Will the 1/8" Make a large noticeable difference in height?

How about adding a block of wood to the base of the piers? Size it so it looks like a mounting base and paint it a concrete gray color. You could increment the height of the wood blocks for a gradual rise in elevation.

MTH also makes piers for Fastrack, if that happens to be what you are using? I don't know the height or other specs on them though? I don't know of they will fit any other track though?

Interesting, I would have guessed that the MTH piers would have matched their bridge? However, I don't own either one so I can't measure them to check to be certain.

I thought you had a bigger height difference in your original post, or I mis-read it? If it's really only 1/8" that should be easily made up with shims I would think.
