Lionel Truck woes. NS PS-1 Boxcar Lighted Flag Design truck piece missing. | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

This car wouldn’t roll well. Looking at it didn’t help. Taking it apart did. I took that little piece out of one side of the truck, flipped it over. 3 springs, no plastic piece.... I’ll look through the Lionel site, but imagine I’m going to have to pull it off a truck. It’s my only “higher end” Lionel car. And the only 3 spring Lionel car I have. I’m thinking my best hope is pulling a black one off a replacement truck. Any other thoughts? I hope I don’t need a powered truck to find the right design.

Is it still under warranty? Perhaps contact Lionel to see if they can help.

Could be under warranty. I forget if I got it from the club that commisioned it, a vendor, or eBay. I’ll see what Lionel says.
