Lionmaster Challenger smoke unit issue

So I got my Challenger Tuesday and today was the day I could finally run it on a layout. The puffing/chuffing smoke doesn't puff/chuff out like it should. When I blow the whistle the stacks smoke for the Whistle and the Whistle after I quit blowing the whistle, it sypths our slowly and disapates. Are my wires messed up for the smoke unit?

I also thought that it could of been the smoke unit crapped out for the units but it wouldn't be it considering the smoke came out of the Whistle.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Tim, since this is still under warranty, I'd connect with Lionel. There are two connectors, maybe the whistle smoke is plugged into the main stack?

I have one of those and the whistle smoke is not like other whistle smoke Lionels. It does work correctly as to stack, chuff, etc., but the whistle smoke is dense at first and then thins out dramatically. And of course being right behind the stack it's kind of lost in the stack smoke quickly.

Could be the plumbing is just disconnected, hard to say.
