Hi to all, I was informed yesterday by Barry Lewis of MTH trains that I'm the first place winner in the hobby division RailTown kitbash contest for my Valley Bait & Tackle entry. MTH will be awarding the certificate and prize later this week at York but sadly I won't be able to attend.

The diorama will be featured in MTH's 2018 VOL l catalog that comes out this week both print and online.

Any of you guys that make it to york and see the presentation announcement for the kitbash contest can say hey one of our guys built that.

Tom

Nice going and well deserved!  Waiting from the contest closing date until now must have drove you crazy.

I wonder if MTH will repeat this contest?  If so, I'm ready to go.

Bruce

Hi Bruce, I had forgotten about the contest until I was notified yesterday. Somewhere around mid June I passed the build on to a fellow OGR member as I don't have a layout to put it on. I have a 100 foot ceiling train with both O and HO tracks with little to no room for scenery but I still like to build dioramas.
