These folks dont have any service at all. No lights? I called Bachmann but to no good.
IF it's the lens you are talking about, the Lionel Aftermarket Repro headlights for a turbine should work.
No it is a new type bulb with a plug type into a board. It is a newer type copy of the 671 only it is numbered 6200. Both in front and on cab. You pull off the front and can see the circit board where it is pluged into along beside the smooke unit. Funny thing is you can buy the smoke unit on thier site buy not the light. I called them but they dont carry the light, just the board. thanks
Can you take a picture of it?
also are you familir with using a multimeter? If so Measure the output voltage oto the light and let us know . you may be able to replace the foolish bulb with an LED and not have the issue again.
Speaking of Led's another quick solution is to measure the with of the bulb, clib the bulb off the wires and replace the bulb with an Evans design warm white LED. you just need to know the width for either the 5mm led or a 2 mm led.
Where do you find those evans bulbs? thanks
I found those bulbs and ordered some hope they work. Seams the best way to go. Thanks alot. This site go so fast many of us get swept under the carpet.
