I searched until my eyes glazed over to no avail.  I'm looking for a switch tower that is elevated on a single post (early-era structure?).  I actually thought I had such a kit to assemble, but if so, it must have departed.  The item in question looks similar to a signal tower (I have one of those) but is larger.

If anyone here remembers such a building, please give me a reference that I can use to search for one.  I prefer a kit, but would consider a built-up if necessary.

Thanks

Jerry,

The MTH version looks decent, even though it's on a pair of supports.  It's called a GATE TOWER.  So, there are at least 3 versions of tower buildings.  I'm still hoping for a kit version, especially one with a profile of about 2" X 2".

Thanks

Nick,

You definitely found one on a single post.  I'll check it out on their website.  But I would have to change the paint scheme.

I thought Atlas made one but wasn't sure since I couldn't find the tower on their site it lists the kit for both at $29.95.

Thanks to all for your suggestions.  I already have the Atlas 2-building set as shown by Jerry.  I found a couple of possibilities on the Bay.  One kit is quite neat, but very pricey ($100 or best offer) - it's mostly metal.  My other tower is the Korber model.  My preference is not to have duplicate towers.  The Korber model is nice, but that version is probably the most common format, similar to Lionel's operating version.  I guess I have a "thing" for the pedestal shape.
