Legacy steam and deisel bought new this year, Berkshire, Mikado, F3 and PA's. Friend has ALS and when operating with one hand probably did something to change the setting. Is there a way reset without digging out the modules but using the remote keyboard?

I think we need more info. What exactly is happening? What is on the display?
And yes you can set all the info from the keyboard.
You should be able to configure them from the remote, the modules are optional.
How about some product numbers of the engines in question. Also, what version software are you running on the Legacy system?
The Halt button-perhaps it was accidentally pressed. Turn off power wait turn it back on.
The Halt button just stops things, but there's no need to cycle power to get them running again. That's a thing with the MTH TIU and remote, those you have to cycle power if you use the emergency stop.
