I just had a PS1 E8 converted to PS2 leaving both A units powered and run by lashing rather then tethered through the B unit. Both A unites can be run along with all functions including sound and smoke. The problem is the I lose functions in lash mode, sometimes immediately, sometimes after running for a few minutes. Functions lost, Leading A unit the mars light, the tailing A unite the number board lights. I have attempted to remedy the situation by going to reset features out of lash mode which works but upon returning to lash the work for a while and disappear. Is there a soft key for mars light or number board lights. Can you restore features in lash mode to both engines at the same time?I looked in Barry`s book and I have not hit upon the method to restore these particular features.

Thanks for the help.    Bob

There are bugs in the lashup function that can cause lighting features to turn themselves off. These bugs are being addressed as part of the DCS version that is currently in beta test.

As regards soft keys specific features such as Mars light, they are included in sound files for the engines that have those lighting features.

Further, lashup soft keys are a generic, reduced set of the soft keys for individual engines, and are not necessarily related to the soft keys of the member engines themselves.
