OK, so what you mistakenly somehow setup is Z4000 remote control tracks. There was a now discontinued radio receiver box that plugs into the Z4000 transformer to allow remote control of the transformer outputs. DCS remotes thus have this setting to control a variable channel not of the TIU- but instead of a Z4000 transformer with one of those boxes installed.

The DCS companion would be the best to go into all the settings https://ogrforum.com/...60#64358525752984660

Again, I know what you did, just going back and switching it all back, I don't yet have step by step instructions but know the book covers them.

Also want to be clear, just like engines the name of a track is something you can edit. So just because it's labeled a name that might indicate a TIU track- the actual settings assigned to that ID are what matters.  Again, the screen is telling us that even though the "name" is "TIU VAR1" the settings for that track are set to a Z4K type.

From page 64 in the manual

Bill,

Was this a used DCS remote? Other wise, I cannot see how you added a Z4K track without a Z-4000 transformer. The Z4K track would have to been added before you got the remote. What has happened probably was you or someone used the TR Softkey and selected a Z4K track instead of  a Variable track. I always use Z4K track in the name to id it. If it is named that way in the remote you can just delete it as you don't have a Z-4000 transformer.
