This thread is getting better and better. We love cabooses so here are a few more 'favorites'

ANY Santa Fe caboose warrants consideration - nice detail here

Here are some of mine. All Atlas.

This ATSF is from the Trainman line.

This is an old 4 wheel caboose. My only modification is the addition of a 3 rail coupler.

It still uses the original plastic wheels and axles because I cant find metal ones that fit right.

This is another old Atlas caboose. I added 3 rail couplers. Popped out the plastic axles and popped in metal ones. Painted the body ends yellow and glued in some windows.

You can try the MTH product locater in there web site and it will list the dealers that still have one in stock or e bay. The Red Reading Northeastern caboose will look better behind the T1 that a Bobber.

Does MTH still make the Philly & Reading bobber? It would look good on my freight train with my MTH Reading T-1, # 2124, and K-Line's Reading smoking caboose.

FYI, I have some train photos on phototbucket listed under username kookooclock027.

I have been dragging these two around the layout lately:

I built the ND out of an old QC kit and the N5 is an old Walthers kit that was built by someone else some time ago. It arrived from eBay with the antennas all mangled so it was a bit of a refurb/refresh project. Both are set up for two rail and tolerate my Atlas switches on my hirail layout. The body mounted couplers certainly help.

This little beauty arrived last week. I love the finish and the detail on it, and it looks great running along with bacon scented smoke drifting out of the chimney.  I'll probably fit a heat shield inside of it soon though, as the side gets rather warm if the smoke unit is on for long.
