Low Sound PS2 5V | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I just purchase 30-2303-1 C628 PS2 5 volt and the sound is very weak in DCS and conventional modes. in conventional I can very the sound with the pot. and the sound is all the up with the app. but still is weak. The engine show 18.8 miles and 1 hour run time basically a new engine. I checked the speaker and it shows 16 ohms with my meter. I replaced the battery with a BCR so I know that is good. Any Ideas

Speaker is probably flaking. Replace it before you fire it up again.
