Finally finished and installed the Altoona Modelworks roundhouse in my new steam yard. So many thanks to Bob Spaulding for an amazing roundhouse kit and to Norm Charbonneau who was a great help along the way. Norm's choice of paints and weathering are amazing and almost everything you see in the photos is based upon his advice.

These are not great photos. In my excitement, I shot with the Iphone and I did so poorly. Future photographs will be taken properly. Forgive my excitement, please.

J Daddy,

Many many lessons.

#1 Take your time. Losing patience, take a break

#2 Use good quality tools/paint

#3 Make certain there is room for the door hinges back to back when mounting the doors. Surely the most difficult task and the most difficult task I have ever performed in building models. If you cannot mount the hinges back to back, you will have to cut the hinges or use the double hinge.

#4 Test fit everything twice before bonding
