For the past six months I have been working on a new Portable storable layout for my vintage Marx tin electric trains. The layout is 46" x 62" and is hinged in the middle to fold up into a compact 34" x 46" x 5". The layout is fairly well finished, so here is a video.

I love this it looks fantastic. I want to do something similar to this to display some of my HO Tyco Equipment. Since I don't have much room for a layout. It would give a chance to run them whenever I want and a much better way to display them. Besides then I could have more room for my O gauge 
I love it! Quite motivating.
Your method of quickly mounting electrical accessories is GREAT! I'd love to know more about it as I might use something similar on my SGMA modules.

The way you painted the switches made their mechanisms seem to disappear. I had to look several times. very nice!
How about an article on how you converted the flyer auto unloading car to the Marx seven inch base?
Hello David That is one cool layout you got there I just love it and very neat too. It is great for people in a small apartment or in a small room so they can run their train on it. I would love to build for my Marx Trains. Thanks longbow57ca.
