Peter, that's one heck of a train you have there, is that all yours or is Gilly involved? Great bridge too, skirting looks great, is that new?

Steve, very nice as well.

Craig.....thank you.....the military train is all mine.

The stone arch bridge is Gilly's module.

The bridge to get in and out of the layout is the clubs, but was mostly designed and engineered by Gilly. It is called the bridge over Geezer Gorge.

The skirting was graciously down by Forum member Kanawha's wife. It is great and has been on the modules since 2010.

Peter,

Wow, great Military train, you must have over 25 cars, I can see why you have two powered units pulling it. Looks great.

Skirting makes a big difference...I remember when the Trackers wanted to do skirting on the inside. I voted against it, thought it was a waste of money. Fortunately I was outvoted, because it made an big difference too, hides all the wood, boxes and junk.

Craig......it is a very heavy train! All those die-cast tanks and vehicles!

Thank you for the comment on the skirting. It does really make the layout sharp-looking. Here is an overview of the whole layout.....with all the skirting on....

Great thread, Craig....God bless all our past and current veterans.....including my Dad who was pulled from the water in the Lingayen Gulf (Philippines) when his destroyer was sunk during the re-taking of Luzon.
