I am thinking about buying Menard's 14 3/4"- O Gauge Bi-Level Auto Carrier with Interchangeable Road Names and was wondering what you thought about it if you have one.
Thanks in advance for your comments!

I liked them. I bought four of them. I am going to eventually take the cars off that came with the car and either run them empty or with later model vehicles. One other note the top part of the car is made out off a wood material.......Paul
STRANGTRAIN, sorry forgot to say in my response another nice feature is it comes with decals so you can change the road name on it when you want..............Paul
I believe the car is of a FRISCO prototype from the fifties.
Thanks for the replies!
Happy Railroading!
It would be really nice if Menards would sell the car empty (no autos). A lot of money wasted on a pile of unwanted Buicks...

I'd like it with cars from the 50's on it.
I have always thought they should of built more in different road names.
Mark at Menards, you need to release these Bi-Level Auto Carriers with new paint scheme and graphics.
1960's era TRAILER TRAIN lettering and graphics in White and Yellow on a medium brown flat car and auto carrier.
1970's era TRAILER TRAIN lettering and graphics in Black and White on a Yellow flat car and auto carrier.
Thank you.
Andrew
I mean, I don't want to sound TOTALLY ungrateful. These are very nice car carriers at a decent price.
If "Mark the Train Guy" could understand that maybe a FEW of us would like to load our OWN preferences in autos -- maybe even some that are selected from what MENARDS stores sell (!) -- he might create a new SKU called "Auto Carrier - Empty" (hopefully for $10-15 less) and thus create a bunch more sales from EXISTING tooling. Then everybody wins !
Regardless, my 3 carriers will be "CB&Q" and carry '60's Mustangs or Shelbys. Whether I have to dump a bunch of "Buicks" and create my own signs, or not ! As it stands now, my auto train will just be a bit shorter -- whatever the budget will allow.
