This came in yesterday, as always a very nicely built building. I'm going to find a new place for this one, for I'm out of room..Thanks Menard's !!! ..The only thing I found wrong in my thinking is the LED lite above the fan is too bright, the fan is hard to see when its lite up. A simple fix of painting it amber could help ??

Cabinet Bob - you didn't see a light adjustment dial on this one? Some of the other buildings have them. Thanks for the pictures. Its on the list to order next.

Those are some great photos!! Is it fairly easy to re-route the plug for the lights to the underside so the cable is not sitting on the outside?
Yes, You can wire it from below, and also Daryl, I didn't know about the adjustment. I'll need to look.. Thanks.. Bob
I like all of the blond-haired Wisconsin residents on the dock. They must have just moved over from Norway or Sweden.
I didn't see any adjustment for the LED lites under the building, so I painted the LED above the fan amber. This helped a lot, Now I can see the fan going around.
What are the dimensions of the base? Menard's website only lists the shipping dimensions.

Cute, but the colors are dark and in my opinion these dark colors are not what made American country villages and towns beautifully quaint.

Steve,
The footprint on this is 9" wide by 12-3/4" long. The building is also 6-1/2" tall.

Mark: You saved me a trip. I was just going to measure it.. Bob
Thank you gentlemen.
Put the LED inside, so the light is coming from behind the fan!

Bob, can you shoot us an "after" pic of the light ambering?
I am getting one, Mark, you may want to think about having them use a flatter paint on the figures, MHO They seem to be on the shinny side a bit.
Mine arrived this morning. One edge of the roof was cracked, but a little crazy glue fixed it. It is now on the layout, and all set up. Looks great in a setting with 5 other Menards buildings. I have 4 other ones on another part of the layout. Keep up the good work Menards, but I am almost out of room for any more.
