Menards ac/dc?

I've been wondering. Do Menards products run on AC or DC power? Do the switches have a rectifier in them so you can run them on ac? How about the locomotives? I know the locomotives can't be run traditionally with a transformer, but can they be powered by an AC transformer?

Yes, they run with AC on the rails.
