Has anyone bought these for their layout and did these look approximately in scale or too big/little next to passing trains? Durability? Can sound be disabled or do you need to snip wires to kill sounds?

Well both local Menards are out of the wheel and carousels. They said they went out as fast as they came in.
Does anyone have a Lemax part numbers for these? If so I mmight see if flea bay has them though probably pay through nose for them, assuming they are close to O gauge scale as I posted in previous post.
By the way, the woodland secenics are marked down to $70 now.
