I hate when that happens!
Have you tried to check if it has power? Take a hairpin or bend a wire into a "U" shape, make sure you just get out of the shower and go for it. Seriously do you really expect a response ?
Been a while since I hooked one up, with the glowing embers I don't recall if there is an on/off switch but there is a way to control the "embers" flashing. Have you found that?
Also what adapter did you use? Menards? As above, do you know it is working?
Just for your info, the red LED'S are not very bright, Looks better when in dim light.. or, try the button which makes different modes.. Bob
Found switch and button next to port on back side. Flipped switch and pushed button, but i don't see any lights. At this point not even sure if switch is on with left side or right.

Well, if you see a heading in that Source list for Menards, you let me know. "Seriously".
I would contact customer service at Menards. They are the best, and will take care of your problem, just go to there website and let them know, they will get back to you real soon...Bob
