Yep, thats a good one, I would take the medic unit off and use it on the layout and replace it with a log, pipe or equipment loads like these other Menards flatcars that I added loads to..

Also , this one is wired so the lites flash and the head lites are on all the time !
Ugh! Want some more US Army stuff!
One thing listed on Menard's site on this car is "Improved couplers and trucks". It
shows that someone is listening.
Let's hope so. The last couple cars I got from them the coupler would not closed so I plan to get it glued.
How much fun is it going to be to see a huge consist of these with the lights flashing. Fun for public layouts, fun for the kids. And at an affordable price. And it wouldn't be too much effort to paint these to fit a theme. Paint them matte black for your special Alien recovery units. Or for NASA units. Or some military theme.
Keep them coming Menards. Fun, unique, affordable, and a breath of fresh air into our hobby.

LOL, so does that mean the train is giving the ambulance a ride to the scene?
Good Morning!
Here are a few more details on our newest flatcar.
This O gauge flatcar features improved couplers and trucks with metal wheels. Riding on this Chicago Northwestern Flatcar is an authentically decorated Chicago Fire Department Ambulance with die-cast cab. This ambulance has working headlights and emergency lights that are lit using track electricity and pickups built into the flatcar. These pickups allow for constant lighting so that the ambulance lighting will not flicker while traveling around your track. This flatcar with ambulance is sure to be a beautiful addition to your train collection! SKU# 279-0861 (Each) or 279-3180 (4-Pack, Save $20!)
