Has there been word about the fixes Menards did on the most recent non-powered A units (Beta 3.0, Feb 2023)? I know the Beta 2.0 non-powered units had a capacitor that blew....

I got a dummy from the latest batch that was released earlier this month and have run it extensively with the lights on and not had any issues. It has lights front and back that are on all the time and switch on the bottom to turn them off. The grand kids like the colors and bright chrome and use it for pushing around the layout so expect it will be well used on our layout.
IIRC the wiring issue was corrected on latter releases.
The Non powered A is running fine after gently pulling the tight wheels from the frame and overlubing with white lithium grease.
As the non powered A is lights are always on I decided to run it facing forward so it looks like it was done intentionally with a full crew operating both engines.
