I am having an interesting problem with the Menards Saturn rocket. This piece has both plugs on the side and bottom. Recently the only way I can get it to light up is if I disconnect the plug from the apparatus and then plug back in. Once I do that, it functions fine. It is only a problem since it is the far end of my layout. Has anyone come across this situation with any of Menards lighted accessories?

Are you leaving this accessory powered all the time?
Yes. If I turn the power on it does not light up but if I remove the power plug and then plug it back in it does light up.
Have you tried using the other power input jack on the rocket?
will give that a shot. But do not understand why if i leave it in does not light but if I remove it and put it back in it works
I can think of a few reasons maybe why. Testing the other jack may help narrow the possibilities and IMO, is the easiest first step.
tested voltage coming to the rocket it was 4.4V and at supply side also 4.4v. Tried wiggling the plug at the base and still no lights unless unplugged then plugged back in. It looks like a bear to take the base off. I think I will live with the way it is. Thanks for your suggestions.

Do the lights come on if you leave the barrel connector in the Rocket's jack, but instead cycle power by unplugging the power supply from the wall?
