They look good, Mike.
Cool, Mike!!
Thanks Max and Jim!
They all look very nice to me. If they also look good to you that's even better! You are really the one that needs to be happy in the end!
I didn't realize Menards now had die cast tanks either? I have an early one, maybe the first and it is plastic. I think die cast makes thing much better. GuessI need to pay a bit closer attention to their product announcements from now on.
Nice work, keep it up!
RTR I picked it up at a Menards store out of there Die Cast bin for like 3.99 in North Dakota.
Mike they look super. Your chocks look great. I did the same thing. When the tanks first came out I bought 10. At $2.99 ea. you can't beat them - perfect loads. I bought two 4pks of the 14 3/4" mil flats and put 2 tanks on ea. flat. I still have to add the chains and load binders.
Wild Mary, your right that you cant beat the price! I didn't have the longer flat cars so I was only able to put the one on with it still looking ok. I think they turned out good enough for my future layout. Plus it gave me something to do today while waiting to see what new was coming down the pike!

Thanks, Menards just recently moved into our area and I have only been a couple of times. Not near enough to get familiar with all they have in those huge stores! Need some more return trips.
I like the boxes they look better than the ammo pallets that are on the halftrack car.
Looks great MIke!! Are the white vans repaint ? I like them
Thanks Bill!
Bob, yep they were green army vans. But when I put the tanks on the flat cars I didn't need 4 army vans so I stripped them and repainted white, cut out some red cross's glued them on with clear elmers glue.
Give me a minute and I will have a new picture of something different for you! It might look a little something you seen before!
