Hello, I just wanted to give everybody an update on what is going on with the shop.

  • I am still going in one day a week to fill online orders.
  • I have also had some customers schedule pick ups at the shop If you do this, please take precautions for me and you.
  • The new URR MP15s are still at MTH. They are waiting for me to give to OK to ship. I am holding off for a while longer.

I hope everybody is running some trains or working on their layouts. As always, I am here to help. Email is the best way to get in touch with me.

Thank you!

Dave

Much as I like getting new trains, I would recommend holding off opening the doors until the April 6 date (or thereafter) when many or most states will be gradually easing off on restrictions so the country can begin "opening up" again. But I just know that in the meantime you will be working hard on the updated layout feature article (after the bike is completed, of course).

Hi Dave, good thinking about what you are doing, I agree with Allan, you really need to be safe.  My youngest son called me on I believe it was last Friday and told me his boss called him and told him he was to be confined to his house for 7 days as one of his sub-contractors called to tell them that his mom tested positive and he wanted to let all of the people know that he hadn't as of yet but wanted everyone to know about the situation.  My son says that he hasn't been around this guy, nor had he shaken his hand or had any close contact with him.  He feels fine and doesn't really expect to come down with it but you just never know.  So you really need to be careful.
