Hi All,

I asked this over on the tinplate forum but this might be a better place. I'm looking for detailed metal figures for my O gauge tinplate layout. I'm not stuck on metal but I like their weight better then plastic. At the end of the day I'm open to suggestions.

I'm after people and machinery, think a backshop or works building. I need the tools, benches and people for that building, any help[ would be great.

Thanks,

Sam

Sam-

I would recommend Arttista for handpainted metal figures. Arttista also has some detail parts, bur for the items you're looking for I'd also recommend Schomberg Scale Models, Bowser, Bar Mills, Plastruct, Woodland Scenics, and Preiser and Berkshire Valley (presumed out of business, but local shops might have stock). Most of these parts are either metal or plaster castings, and will be unpainted.

Oak Ridge Hobbies and Valley Model Trains both maintain great websites, with information on O scale detail parts from a multitude of manufacturers. Both might be great starting points for your project.

Good luck!

-John
