I thank God my home was not damaged by Sandy. Today we are getting another storm, and so far this morning, it's rain and high wind gusts here on Long Island. I pray for those on the Jersey Coast, on Staten Island, and on Long Island who are suffering from the effects of Sandy.
Contrary to what is being reported in the media, and purported by politicians, the gasoline shortages on Long Island are still extreme. It took me two days of trying to finally get some gas, and I had to buy $4.60 per gallon 93 octane to boot because 83 and 91 octanes were gone by the time I got to the pump.
