Will running the LionChief Polar Express below minimum voltage ratings harm the engine? The reason I ask is because I’m building a double helix for Christmas and would like to be able to isolate the downhill run to slow down the engine. The LionChief PE does not have any sort of cruise control.
I’ve done some testing of what the minimum voltage the LionChief Polar express needs to operate and still be able to use all the features. It seems it can run at as low as 5 volts AC though the headlight is kind of inconsistent at that level.
