Saw this one on the Bay listed as Hornby Meccano but the coach is 12 inches long. It looks to be on Hornby trucks, but the stamping underneath indicates ML&L or MLo & L. Very well made but a little long for Hornby I think.
That's the stamp of "Meccano Limited, Liverpool, England." which is pre-war Hornby. I think it's a Pullman coach, given the Royal Crest and what looks like faded lettering on the side. I'm guessing it's around early 1920s.
