I found pickings slim for 1/43 or other auto models at York. I picked up one Rextoy 1935 Ford wagon for RR station service, but
saw little else. An older woman who used to have Brooklins in the Black? Hall has not been there in several Yorks, the guy from Lancaster with cheaper Brooklins in the Orange Hall is not there, and his booth is thinner in stock. Over at Carlisle where you'd think you'd see some, on Wed. morning, nothing. There used to be somebody that set up with auto models in the pole building there, but...lately, on Wednesdays, Carlisle is slow to get moving...like everybody is hung over from the night before and few open up. I'd go on Friday, but....there is a competing show on Friday. (I got good, free parking at Carlisle on Weds.....on Saturday, you'd have tp park in
Kansas. although I used to show up really early to park on the street, when it was a vintage car show and not a hot rod show...not
much old is there any more, not even the models)
