Modifying the Lionel 6-17311 REA Single Door Boxcar

This Lionel "standard" model was first issued in 1996 (BLT 96 LIONEL). This model has gold lettering with a white and red Railway Express Agency logo. The Lionel trucks were remounted so that the trucks actually pivot on the truck centers. The original Lionel truck mounting is offset.

On this model a wooden floor and simulated "load" were added.
