Hi guys. I've been playing with my two aquarium cars, and I really like the wavy panels on my mpc version, but my Trout car doesn't have them. Do you think if I buy the part from Lionel's PWC version, they'd fit? I think it would greatly improve this car. Thanks.

I have been wondering the same thing, don't know if they will fit or not. If you try it and it works please post some pictures of reworking your Aquarium Car!

I took a look at some of the extra aquarium shells I have. Looks like the trout car has a one piece clear insert that fits between some plastic 'stops'. I tried a wavy panel and it would need shaved a bit at the end to fit. You would also need to hold it in the body somehow - double faced tape? Looks like the shells that use the wavy panel have a different 'stop' at the ends - 'L' shaped for the panel edge to slide into to be held flush to the body.
Hmmmm....that still sounds doable. Next order from Lionel I'll have to order a set. Thanks!
