I went to the big local meet today and met a bunch of the fellas: Mike "chooch" o'connell and a bunch of other locals. This was my first trip, there was a TON of lionel for sale, as well as HO gear. Many operating layouts were there and some fine scenery etc. was laid out. I was one of the younger guys; I would say 60% were older than 60---still there was a good number of families too. So, perhaps we can entice more folks to create if they see creative endeavors...
Picked up 30 pair of Weaver trucks---NIB for a fraction of retail---my big score!
