A few weeks ago I asked about O-Gauge Outside. Seems a number of OGR members had at some point tried it. So, with a beautiful Spring day, all the chores done, and no further items on the "Honey-Do" list, I decided to try out my first-ever Legacy locomotive. UP 4004, an SD45T purchased on here, no less, from another OGR member. And what a good purchase it will turn out to be! I had not realized how well these locomotives run, especially at slow speeds. After this video was made, I set up a freight and watched it just crawl effortless and endlessly. This will not be my last Legacy locomotive, that's for sure. And, I don't think the 2 hours outside hurt it at all. All is put away now, and the basement refinishing gets done the end of the month. But, enough talk, take a look at Legacy Outdoors.
