I received this today, the seller claims it is handmade. I believe him.

It just amazes me that someone would build this from scratch.

You can see the size in the pictures, it is too wide for

G scale track. I am going with homemade.

I am a big fan of the cable show "American Pickers," simply because of the variety of individual taste and preference you see in each episode. Your acquired engine could be considered a form of mechanical craft art; the engine is unique, a nice display piece on a desk, enjoy your find.
