Would someone please tell me exactly where this goes? When I disassembled my F3 to replace a wheel it fell off and I'm not sure if it goes between the motor and the chassis or between the truck and the chassis. Also which side is up or down since it is curved

It is a ground spring. It goes between the bottom of the motor casting and the locomotive frame. The 2 bent ends ride on the frame and the motor sits in the curved part.
