Working on a project that requires small but powerful magnets to be glued to cars and locos to trip sensors.

For those interested in this madcap adventure: https://ogrforum.com/d...ent/5512461219541653

I wanted a glue that can allow magnet removal later on with minimal damage.  I hesitate to use CA.  Would Pliobond (sp?) work for metal to metal and plastic to metal?  Right now I am using small double sided foam disks from Micheals to hold them on which is a good temporary solution (especially for magnet/sensor optimization) but looking for something more permanent but not so permanent that I can't get magnets off!

Sam...do an internet search on double sided tapes. Like most adhesives, double sided tape is available in various holding strengths. I have used some double sided tape that will put the plaster of a wall before letting loose. We use some at work that is super thin and can take high temp that you may as well call permanat. Sometimes if they are a bit too hard to remove applying some heat will help. Start with the 3M foam tapes.
