How does the MPC Type II Pullmor integrated truck (sheet metal...small pullmor mounted in the truck) vary from the original PW version MPC based the design on?  This integrated truck was used on Alcos and NW-2's of course in the later PW era.  Used on GP's and most diesels before the can motor arrived in the MPC era.   And used recently on the missile launching loco, PWCC/traditional Alco's, and NW-2.

The MPC version is much more stout, they are all two-axle drive with two traction tires(low end PW had single axle direct drive with no spur gears, some w/ no traction aids), and stamped out of steel with steel gear bosses instead of aluminum. They also have integrated 3rd rail collector assemblies and are staked together much more securely with a more robust Delrin lower armature bushing.

Even the PW cheap one axle non-MagneTraction stamped steel motors were pretty flimsy, lacking a lower bearing plate resulting in a lack of rigidity. These relied on a mid-armature(above the worm gear instead of below) bearing.
