Nice selections, Steve. I was hoping for some Burlington E8’s. Hopefully in a near future catalog. I hope I hope!
That’s a cool custom run big boy!! Love the chalk big boy on the front. Do these big boys have the ash pan glow effect?
Just putting in the order for the Nickel Plate Camelback, the Rock Island E8, and the Nickel Plate NW2.
Thank you for putting these together. I wasn’t planning to do a Big Boy, but honestly, your custom run is making me want one.
Is the UP 4000 going to be matte black or glossy finish? Also with the small run will/can they be uniquely numbered?
Steve I'm curious, will the Milwaukee Road GP20 have the Horst air filter and working strobe?
UP #4000 'As Delivered' will have standard Lionel matt black paint and blackened drivers....
I will check on the ash pan glow... usually that is in Lionel steamers, but this is not on standard list of features.
Really like the choice of the Norfolk & Western GP20. While N&W didn’t buy any new, they ended up with a couple by the 80s. N&W owned them long enough to be repainted in NS black. Great candidate for weathering and pulling some of those N&W coal cars. Hope you get enough orders for it to get made.

Thank you for confirming
What color will Mr. Muffins Dreyfuss be?
I am really excited about this #4000... gonna be awesome! I ordered mine... you can't have enough Big Boys...
My Fruit train is about 60 cars long... mixed reefers... looks great with Big Boy lashup!
Any chance anyone has looked into doing a run of the BSA 2010 ES44AC. These things are hard to come by on the secondary market surely there’d be enough interest

Its a nice engine... i have one... all the die cast shell es44's are hard to find. They are very HEAVY!
They are very heavy! It is surprising when you first pick them up compared to other modern diesels. Would be great one day to see them reran if a manufacturer ever decided to purchase new tooling for them. Would be a wonderful custom run if Mr. Muffin could offer it. Should get the minimum of 40 orders. If not I wish you luck in your search for one! Took me years to find the first. Was told by many shops I would be lucky to ever see one let alone one for sale.

I wish I could find a diecast BSA 2010 I’ve seen a KCS diecast locomotive they were incredible. I almost had one about 10 months ago but was too slow on the trigger.
seriously considering they want like $3500 on the secondary market for that locomotive and one shows up only like every 3 years surely you could get 40 preorders.

HI Steve,
Do you know if your custom run Big Boy #4000 will have the operating work lights?

Yes, all vision big boys will have these lights...
Ordered #4000.yesterday
Emailed Mr. Muffins yesterday with some questions on the #4000 Big Boy. He said they already have 41 orders as of yesterday and its a go for the #4000 Big Boy.
Is anyone else ordering the Nickel Plate camelback? Just curious if there is enough interest out there for this unique engine.
The WM Russian Decapod is interesting. But why do one of the road numbers MTH already made? Seems like a missed opportunity, especially missing out on doing the 1110, the one MTH originally promised, then changed it to 1108 before the models shipped. Also, I am fairly certain the WM Russian decapods had fixed position bells where the clapper moved by air, so getting the swinging bell feature left out of those models would be nice, too.

Fwiw, on the new 0-6-0 you have the option to disable the swinging feature of the bell and still keep the choice of bell sounds. I believe there is also faster "fixed" bell tones.
@MrMuffin'sTrains any word on how the pre orders panned out? Any others make it across the finish line?
Have any of the custom runs been cancelled because of low pre-order numbers?
