Purchased this beautiful SD60 today and can not find the DCS-DCC, smoke switches and vol pot.
Previous SD60's had them near the trucks, on the frame. No so on this one.
Also - there are not ventilation covers to pull off for top access.
Can someone point them out to me?

What does the User's Manual say, it normally has that information.
User manual says near the trucks or under a removable ventilator top panel.
There are no pots or switches near the trucks and no ventilator panels are removable.
Clearly, they are there somewhere. Since I don't have one to look at, I can only recommend looking closer. 
One manual suggests you have to rotate the truck to see the pot on an earlier model of that engine.
Found it!
POTS and switches are located under the front ventilators. You need a jewelers screwdriver to pry the cover off.
Cover is real tight. See attached photo.
