I have placed an order for the MTH 20-64138 Baltimore & Ohio 4-Car 70' Streamlined Passenger Set as well as the dome car and the dinner and sleeper set. The MTH website says delivered in April 2020?
Anyone out there have an idea when these will show up?

It says delivery date April 2020, but hasn't been delivered yet. This happens all the time (although not much longer for MTH 
)
As Frank says, normally when delivered the message changes to read like this:
"Delivery Status: Delivered May 2017"

I have that same B&O set preordered along with the GM&O, Illinois Central, and Union Pacific passenger sets. None of them have delivered yet. Deep breaths!

When my friends heard MTH was doing a G,M&O passenger set they all thought he was FINALLY doing F units in Red and Maroon with streamlined cars. They were sooo excited!
When they saw it was a rehash of the Red and Silver scheme they all said "What the heck" (or something similar;-) and didn't order one. Hope MTH makes all these sets and doesn't drop the ball like Lionel did with the 18" aluminum cars at the end so you get your sets.
UPDATE - MTH pushed out the delivery dates on all of their Vol. 1 passenger cars.
20-64138 - B&O 4-car set - was April 2020, now December 2020
20-64153 - GM&O 4-car set - was April 2020, now February 2021
20-64158 - Illinois Central 4-car set - was May 2020, now December 2020
20-64178 - Union Pacific 4-car set - was June 2020, now January 2021
So December 2020 is no more.... still holding my breath here...
I was clicking around on MTH's website the other day. I saw a news bulletin that showed items expected to deliver to dealers starting January 15th. The B&O cars were on that list. Unfortunately, I can't find it on MTH's website now. I didn't dream it, I swear!
Well another month has passed...oh well.
Was the red stripe GM&O scheme prototypical? Not very attractive considering the beauty of the diesels that could pull them! I have some Williams 72' streamliners done in the attractive maroon, red, and black colors that are older with silhouettes. Would like to have a more detailed set with interiors someday for the handsome Atlas F3s
Still waiting on mine as well...8 of the 10 B&O passenger cars in fact. Prepaid for most of them.

I have the Vista Dome Passenger Car on order via Mr. Muffin's. I suspect I'll be getting an email soon. The other supplier hasn't returned my email.
Well, looks like I won't be getting the RPO. 7 out of 8 isn't too bad, I guess.

And yep, not as attractive as the colors you have. That would have been a killer selling set.
Woo hoo! I get the 4 car and 2 car tomorrow. I might be getting the passenger car from the other baggage/passenger car set as well!
@peter allen 072518 - Did you notice that the passenger cars have no extra weight...like many of the older Madison coaches are weighted and not by any small amount? I did feel like the Madison passenger cars also had more refined detail than these particular B&O passengers...with the only outsanding detail was the window shades and doors open (albeit they tend not to mate well with shell). I also believe there is some missing steps but I haven't confirmed that as of yet.

The newest MTH Madison sets appear to now have new style HO size figures in them. Do your cars have the older figures inside? If not, what size?
Saw this thread and did not know this sharp looking RPO was made. I have the Lionel B&O set but gave this some thought as sharp looking.

BobbyD - I used Bachmann O Scale figures as my main reference. Interestingly, the MTH heads on the passenger figures seem scale but, as you transverse downward, the limbs, trunk, and legs (if they have legs) seem to get smaller in scale. This is fairly apparent in the leg height. I assume this is done purposely for the standing figures so they can be seen looking out the windows. All of this makes me suspicious that the height of the MTH passenger cars is not truly scale, mainly in the lower portion, to accommodate the high rail wheels. That is to say, from ground level the passenger cars are scale height, but if you were to measure the height of the frame alone, it would be less than the "prototype" measurement.
The tables in the dining car seem very short height wise from a visual perspective but the MTH 20-64xxx interiors are such a pain to access that I dare not try to measure this. (A few of them have loose figures in them. They can't be accessed via the side doors or the ends so I let them stay dislodged.)
Those modelers who strip the interiors out and replace them almost always replace the figures anyway or move the existing figures inwards. There are so few to begin with.

it’s been another 8 months and I got all my pieces but I am still waiting on the vista dome car. Is this a lost cause? Do I keep waiting? What’s the likelihood it may show up some say?
What's the item number? 20-64141?
Have they released any other cars with this tooling since then? I'd think they would have run them together. Interesting they ran the sets and not this car.
Now if the car in quisition is 20-64141 a Full Length Vista Dome (which the B&O Never had) per the MTH site was delivered Jan. 2021 and none show in stock anywhere.
Some fact the B&O was the first road East of the Mississippi River to have Dome cars. They were of the low profile design which is well represented by MTH's B7O single dome car. I road one from my hometown round trip to Chicago at night up in the dome both directions in the 50"s
