I'm looking for the AAA battery pack (3 volt - smaller than the AA blue) for my 2004 MTH S2 switcher.
I've searched the MTH site and catalogues which list the 3 volt Blue and 8.4 Green but no AAA.
Have they stopped making them?
Any advice on alternative suggestions? These fit in a very tight spot under the cab/figures.

Dave , according to mth site and not sure if this is what you need
(2"AAA" batteries in a pack) (NiMH) (Nickel Metal Hydride)
(used in Scale Alco S-2, RK 4-6-2 Ps-4 Pacific, & maybe H-3) (SW-1500, 30-2725-1)
Also did a goodle search and several hits on BG-4000004 with picture in the 10 to 12.00 range.
A bcr may be another alternative if one if made for you application.

Dave.... Call Stockyard express they have really small 3 volt BCR's that work great. I think it might be perfect for your application.

You can Just use a super cap bcr component. $4.40. Done for life
& it's a third the size of 2 aaa batteries
