MTH ACCESSORY POLARITY

I'M INSTALLING AN MTH-RAILKING #30-90380 HEARTBREAK HOTEL 5 STORY BUILDING WITH BLINKING SIGN. I'VE NOTICED SOME OF MY OTHER MTH BUILDINGS WITH BLINKING SIGNS ARE MARKED SPECIFICALLY AS TO WHICH CLIP IS GROUND BUT THIS ONE IS NOT. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF IT MATTERS, I TEND TO THINK IT WOULD.

Being that AC has no real polarity to it as it alternates 60 times a second(positive to negative 60 times a second and to zero 120 times a second) it should not matter if your accessory is AC powered.

If the accessory is DC powered then it will matter! DC is straight power like from a battery or regulated AC source to a useable form of DC current.

THANK YOU FOR THE REPLIES, I HAD THOUGHT POLARITY MIGHT HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BLINKING SIGN WHICH I THOUGHT WAS INTERNALLY CONVERTED TO D.C.
